Located somewhere in the mountains edging the Bonneville Salt Flats, Leader's Wendover Compound served as the base of operations for the company during its initial run for the world record for land faring vehicles. The base was destroyed when The Leader initiated the self-destruct sequence, in an attempt to rid himself of both Steve Warson and Michel Vaillant.

Directly behind the massive doors lies a large pad, providing room for dozens upon dozens of cars and trucks. Even though it's at the complete end of the cavern, a large glass dome dominates the entire structure. Inside of this dome, various control equipment can be seen, spread out over two floors. When Steve and Michel enter the cavern, a Leader Limousine can clearly be seen parked in front of the dome.
